My baby is 11-13 months and is still waking so frequently. When will this get better?

FAQ

When your baby is ready. Sorry, that’s not what you wanted to hear. The thing is sleep is such a personal thing, and there’s so much else going on development wise in the first three years, that it’s really impossible to say with any accuracy that all babies will get better at x age.

It just doesn’t work that way.

For some of you things will improve drastically in a month, for others, not until after their third birthday. The keys to surviving? Remembering that baby sleep is not linear, that even every adult had different sleep needs, despite recommendations being generalized to eight hours, and parenting the child you have, not the one you wish you had, or comparing constantly to your friends.
